Useful Music was founded by Graham Lyons in the 1980’s and published a wide range of educational music, mostly for woodwind instruments.
Expertly arranged, these compositions, arrangements and technical studies appear at all levels and in a variety of styles. Now exclusive to Clifton Edition, these pieces have helped over a million children and adult learners to progress.
Useful Music is now part of Clifton Edition, who are currently engaged in updating and republishing as many works from the Useful Music catalogue as possible. New titles are added regularly. The new editions are available in both printed form and as instant PDF downloads. Most pieces, where appropriate, include optional backing tracks which are now available free from this website.
