Terry Kenny was born 1931 in Enfield and was educated at St. Ignatius College in London, Birkenhead Institute and The Royal Military Academy. He followed a distingueshed musical career in the British army firstly with The Duke of Cornwall Light Infantry, progressing to Head of Music at the Welsh Regiment, The Royal Artillery Mounted Band and Royal Corps of Transport Band.
After leaving the army, Terry, an experienced clarinetist and bassoonist taught wind instruments in primary and secondary education. He was an examiner at the Royal Military School of Music ‘Keller-Hall’ and a jury member for competitions and festivals. He has 50 works published in five countries.
