Springtide evokes the freshness, colour and dance-like energy of spring poetry from across the centuries, inspired by George Herbert’s Vertue, the anonymous 13th-century Alysoun and the 9th-century Latin To Bishop Hartgar in Thirst, the pieces loosely correspond to old-world reflections on religion, love and drink!
