Sleepers Awake! (from ‘Wachet auf’ BWV 140) and Sheep May Safely Graze (from ‘The Hunting Cantata’ BWV 208)
Famous classics, cunningly arranged as highly playable easy piano duets. The optional free backing tracks, downloadable from the Clifton Edition website, allows for each movement to be practised separately (and often slowly) before putting the whole thing together — ideally in the company of another human!
Two wonderful tunes have been simplified, while still allowing the spirit of the originals to shine through. The keys have been transposed to C major and the Baroque rhythmic notation updated to improve readability.
