This famous tune originates from the opera Koanga by Frederick Delius, his third opera, written between 1896 and 1897.

This arrangement for wind quintet (Flute, Oboe, Clarinet in Bb, Horn in F and Bassoon) by Martin Gatt was initially published by Phylloscopus Publications in 2017.
