Flute, Oboe, Clarinet in Bb, Bassoon, Horn in Eb/C, (Horn in F alternative), Violin, Viola, Cello and Double Bass.

Louise Farrenc was a French composer, virtuoso pianist and teacher of the Romantic period. She was the first female professor at the Paris Conservatoire.

The first edition of this work was published in 1994 by Phylloscopus Publications.
