Recorder Group: Book 1

Flexible three-part arrangements for a group of descant and/or treble and/or tenor recorders with optional piano accompaniment.

Each arrangement is particularly suitable for two descants and a treble or a descant, treble and tenor combination. An easy optional piano accompaniment is provided for each piece to give extra support and confidence. The recorder arrangements are also suitable to be played unaccompanied. There is scope for some percussion instruments to be added in many cases. As well as offering possibilities for a school concert or assembly, Recorder Group can also support the National Curriculum requirements at KS2 and KS3 for playing pieces which have several parts.
