Georges Gillet

Georges Gillet (1854 – 1920) was a French oboist, teacher and composer. In addition to premièring oboe works by prominent French composers of the 19th century, including Camille Saint-Saëns, among others, Gillet was a professor of oboe at the Paris Conservatory. He helped to develop the F. Lorée brand of oboe.
