Adolphe Deslandres

Adolphe Deslandres (1840-1911) studied organ at the Conservatoire in Paris with César Franck. Turning to composition, he wrote a large amount of vocal and religious music and indeed won second prize in the famous Prix de Rome competition for composers. Amongst his instrumental works is a wind quintet, and this Introduction et Polonaise.
